Hello Everyone. What's your personal horror games experience? What was the first one you've ever played?

When I was little, I watched my dad play Resident Evil, Echo Night, Silent Hill and Clock Tower. I kept on watching and getting into the games even though I refused to play them and they scared me greatly. I don't remember when, but then I started playing Resident Evil and I kept on playing. I got hooked and once I finished it, I started playing Resident Evil Nemisis. Once I completed it, I played Resident Evil Survivor and then Resident Evil 2. They were all for playstation and so the graphics didn't creep me out. I could basically remember when things would pop out (although some surprised me). I then bought the remake of Resident Evil, as well as Resident Evil 0. Since the remake was a bit different, it took me a while to get around the game, but I finished it in 5:33:55. I'm about half way through Resident Evil 0 and it's really interesting controlling two characters at once.

I've tried Echo Night and Silent hill, but even though the graphics are crap...well, zombies are one thing, but ghosts and the paranormal are another. So, I gave up on them really quickly. I've looked up reviews for other horror games and watched others play them, but none of them interest me. I don't think I'll ever play any new ones unless the other Resident Evil Games are remade.

So, anyway...

Which horror games do you own and/or play at the moment?

Which out of them is/are your favourite and why?

Out of all your games, which is/are the scariest in your opinion? Out of all the games you've seen, which is/are the scariest in your opinion? Why?

I own Resident Evil 0, 1, 2, 3 & Survivor, Echo Night and Silent Hill 1, 2 & 4. I used to own Clock Tower 2 and Dino Crisis, but I dad got rid of them (which is a drag because I wanted to play Dino Crisis...).

I love Resident Evil very much! There's not much gore, the puzzles are interesting and the zombies are fun to shoot at. My favourite is the first Resident Evil. I can't pick between the original and the remake though. I love playing the playstation version with the cheat codes (I love the python!)

I'd have to say echo night is the scariest. The evil ghosts are really creepy and they'll appear out of nowhere if you turn off the lights. Silent Hill is a game that boggles the mind. The creatures are unique and it just messes you up! I'd have to say the scariest games are the ghost games, like Echo Night and Fatal Frame. Monsters might be scary, but you can shoot at them. Ghosts can't be killed.
