Icon Important Announcement!

Well the forum has been updated it's big version step up from what we have been running for god knows how long.

The mods to our forum (arcade etc are gone for the time being, I'll see what I can readd when get a chance) gallery and download systems are also latest versions (they are made by the company who makes the forum software itself [invision])

:) I'll get a shoutbox up asap if I can for the odd lurker.

Guidelines

UPDATED.

Make sure you take into fact some of the following when making a review.

Try using good grammer and no bad lang etc as this will show up on the main website.

Max of around 4 Screenshots (also aloud 1 picture of the game box at start of review). Dont make the width be anymore then around 500 as more and will break the tables on the website and such like. Also make sure the images are uploaded to your own album on Image Gallery etc. Dont hotlink images from like GameSpot etc.

Give your a review a nice clear title. If in ds/gba forum make sure it starts with [GBA] or [DS] as title name.

For games and cotd make sure give it some kind of rating were it be like out of say /5 with . ratings like 4.5,3.2 and 2.8/5 for example or just plain 1/10 2/10 etc.

Make sure you like dont put 2 pictures side by side in a post as it will more likely have to be edited as it wont display right on the Website. Best just to do one after the other.

Also for COTD can do as said with the video game box add it at start of review.

I'll try and make a full article on this monster but don't shoot if I miss out some things because it's my first article ever...

So one of the monsters the Yu-Gi-Oh! players have awaited for a long time is Marshmallon

Marshmallon
PP01-EN003
Type: Fairy
Attribute: LIGHT
Level: *** (3)
Attack: 300
Defense: 500
Effect:

The controller of a monster that attacks this face-down card takes 1000 damage after damage calculation. This card cannot be destroyed by battle. (Damage calculation is applied normally)

This card will become a staple card for each deck from highly competitive to low scrap decks. The reason of this is because of his Stall-effect AND you get a Burn side-effect aswell, that jus makes this card even better. Plus he's searchable through "Sangan" and "Shining Angel". He'll be played in any kind of Burn, Fairy and Stall decks along with, as mentioned above, any other deck.
Couple of downsides thou. First of all his low stats so Pierce monsters will be highly effective against him and second, and this is why "Spirit Reaper" is still the best Stall monster, he can be switched to the opponent where "Spirit Reaper" can't (he's destroyed immediatly).

So playability in Burn deck is very likely since his side-effect is Effect Damage, it can be a very dangerous combo and take a huge bite out of your Life Points. But since he and "Book of Moon" are both Limited it won't be used that often but thank God "Tsukiyomi" is still banned (in Advanced Format) else he'd be overused and it would've been very ugly...

Fairy deck is pretty obvious since he's a Fairy so he can serve as food to Summon, and power-up "Voltanis". And in the most narrow situation where you're being swarmed by your opponent he can be searched by "Shining Angel". The only down-side is that you don't get he Burn efect, but then again "Book of Moon" can come the next turn ^_^, and that if your opponent uses a Pierce deck he won't be such a great help...

Stall deck has the same 'problems' as the use in fairy decks (the Pierce down-side) along with some others. He's not such a great Stall monster as he may seem. I admit he's low stats help him since the most Stallers are high DEF monsters but still a target by "Smashing Ground" as to where "Spirit Reaper", "Treeborn Frog", etc USUALLY evade. But if you play a LIGHT based Stall deck he can come in handy since his *** (3) Stars slip right under "Gravity Bind" or "Level Limit - Area B", so with the right equipment he could destroy some monsters.

Now to talk about his only Support card (which aplies specifically to him) "Marshmallon Glasses"

Marshmallon Glasses
PP01-EN004
Type: Continous Spell Card
Effect:

While this card and "Marshmallon" are face-up on your side of the field, your opponent cannot select a card other than "Marshmallon" as an attack target.

Will this card see competitive play, probably not. Why you ask because it's to situational I mean you could add 3 copies of "Marshmallon Glasses" but there's only 1 copy of "Marshmallon" allowed in the deck. The only sort of deck I might see the Combination of both is in a "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder" ("Crystal Beast" based) deck or a "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder" ("Marshmallon Glasses" based) Stall deck

Rating:
Advanced 8/10
Traditional 9/10 (thanks to "Tsukiyomi" i believe)

So guys what do think of this article??
Please tell what I forgot or should change next time!!

Forum rules in a nutshell (this is default, go to my controls to change it after you have read this notes)
- No advitising. Even simply mentioning another sites name can and often does result in a weeks suspention.
- Don't bump topics over 2 months old. Doing so will only p*ss moderators off and doing it too frequently will only shorten your lifespan on YGOL.
- Don't double post... use the edit button.
- As for help on how to download and risk being banned. If you have a question... read the downloads info topic in the general chat. If your question isn't answered there... then and ONLY then ask.
- Use common sense. Don't post unless you have something useful to constribute to the topic ((aka no spam)) and create topics in the right forums ((aka don't create a topic about your favourite basketball team in the TCG forum)).

Thats just awsome topic thnx so much don tom ur searches and articals are just great 10/10

=) About that marshmallon its alright with me hes cuiter than spirit reaper , i put him in my fairy deck hes great with
Shining Angel will only if the field spell card is there so i can s.s. him in atk position =/ or maybe no need for the field
when i got "Nova Summoner" it has almost the same effect of Sining Angel but waaay better. Marsh is great , when i put
him in my fariy deck , hes just like Gellenduo , but they both got great other effects .

Marshmallon is no.1 in my quik fire deck , and umm =/ one of my quik fire decks - since i got 5 - got only marsh spirit and currans.

Hes not really bad for many decks , especially there are some ppl who doesnt care much about destroying monsters with
effects =/ and thats what i forgot in some decks of mine , its kinda natural for themed decks to forget that :bounce:

I can't wait for your next artical :P gl man
