I'm looking forward to seeing this film though from what I've seen I'm not sure if it's going to live up to my expectations. Hopeful I (and all the POTC fans won't be disappointed and Captain Jack Sparrow will blow us out of the water. tongue.gif

I watched it while on a trip at San Antonio. This. Movie. Was. AWESOME.

The music, the action, the story (well, most of it; there was a part or two that didn't make sense to me)...it was all awesome. The ending was quite a shocker, but you have to nod your head and realize that it couldn't have been avoided...I think.

9.5 out of 10 from me. It was freaking awesome.

I think it was an excellent movie. I just finally got the chance to see it today. The hype is definitely correct and that u should see it. Mainly because of how the trilogy has ended, I will buy the entire series. If u havent seen it, see it sometime.

I finally saw it, I loved it. I'm a bit of a movie critique so a few points in the movie, I wasn't so excited about. Like the book of Pirate rules....what pirate in their right mind would even take the time from pillidging plundering and rifleing loot to write a whole book of rules on Piracy....that just seemed a little odd to me. Overall it was a pretty good movie. Not as good as the first one...NOTHING BEATS the first one! smile.gif I liked the part when Elizabeth and Will got married during a fight against Davy Jones and the East India Trading Company while the ship was spinning down into a cyclone of Calypso! How romantic...lol.

I saw it to and it was a great movie, for those who are fan of the pirates serie, you should defenitly watch this one. Allthough it was still a good movie it wasn't as good as the previous parts, i thought this one was a bit over the top. I still think that the best part was part 2 cool.gif
Compared to the other parts this was kind of a setback, but still a very entertaining movie, Gotta love Johnny Depp wink.gif

I myself have not yet seen it, but I am looking forward to seeing it when it comes out on DVD. There's something about sitting in your own living room and watching it in HD on your own television that is far more comfortable than a theater. But not only that you get to enjoy the film better. It's been getting good ratings, however I am going to be disappointed if the rumors are true about the director going for a forth movie, that to me is drawing a good thing out a little too far and is bound to get old.

The second part did not promise the 3rd to be good. Certainly, producers do know tools to pick up an interest: funny additions (though the quality of the said ones found liking in cheaper ideas), drops of suspence, outstanding special effects, interesting characters. Bit of this, bit of that.
Just like the way, the plot was created. Ingredients themselves do not result in a cake. Not only need they to be appropriate but also be dosed appropriately to keep a cake standing and eatable. Otherwise it will be an indigestible pulp.
A toadstool is regarded as looking nice. Try to eat it.
An advantage on producer's side is a human's tendency to accustomance.
While next watching may make one used to a plt being such and not other, this is not the way by which movies should be memorised.

Guys... I thought the movie wasn't good =0 sorry.. I dont know, I guess comparing it to the first and second kinda gave me high expectations.. and this movie definetely did not meet them. Don't get me wrong, i LOVE johnny depp and his role of jack sparrow.. but no, didn't like this one at all =(

i liked it actually...though its ending was kinda sad with what happened to Will...but at least it's not Jones ruling the sea....My favorite scene which was really funny, is when Barbossa realized that Sparrow outwitted him-AGAIN! Makes me wonder if there'll be a part 4...but i do think it's possible.

haha, a fourth movie? that would be cool but i doubt it.. it'll probably just be left as a trilogy
I did hear though...
There was a rumour of there being a fourth movie... remember the little boy at the vert beginning of the third movie?? He held one of the pirate's items (and hence the spoiler stuff right now) It was JACK's item.. which implies that this child was his son... having said that, they could easily make a movie out of that. That'd be awesome :]
And also jack set out his new adventure at the end of the movie.
And he also got the wooden map , too.
There's a lot of possibility for sequel or spin-off.

Johnny Depp also said he still want to explore the world of cpt.jack sparrow in one of his interviews.
