What GFX related programs do you/have you used to make stuff? Like Bryce, Terragen, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Cinema4D, Adobe Photoshop, and GIMP...etc. Also, which programs, (honestly) do you think provides the best effects for GFX related material? Which is your personal favorite?

I've used and still use Photoshop CS2, Imageready CS2, Illustrator CS...and I've used Cinema4D, LViewPro, and thats it...I personally love the products of Adobe Illustrator...Its like an orgasm xD...it makes you wet and stuff...Like, the LPs people post at DA are amazing...and they are mostly made in Illustrator. But my favorite by far is Photoshop for the simple reason <_<

How about you guys?

Hmm, I use Photoshop CS2, Imageready CS2, and Illustrator CS2 on a regular basis. I do use Terragen (for walls) from time to time. I have also used 3dsMax, Maya, GIMP, and some other programs in the past. Even so, Photoshop CS2 still remains my favourite, as, in my opinion, it is the most versatile.

I have claimed Iris, and the ZeroxIris paring, so they are mine.

Being the lazy ###### I am, I ahven't tried much outside of Photoshop. I've played around with opencanvas (though not really an image editing program and it kinda sucks if you don't have a tablet or steady mouse control) and had Paint Shop Pro 7 for a short time. I think my favorite would still stand at Photoshop 7. Though I use CS2 now, 7 will always have a special place in my heart. CS2 gives me problems sometimes, but its too late to go back because 7 was getting pretty outdated and it as getting harder to follow tutorials.

CS2 is pretty neat as well, I have fun playing out with some of the new features, but I don't really use them. I rarely read sig tutorials that I wanted to try out before, and my graphic interests have shifted during this past year.
RIP Dakura.

7 also has a place in my heart, it was easy to use and it loaded the quickest ~.~
No lie, took me exactly 1 minute to load everything...
CS2 takes atleast 2 minutes

didnt had the chance to use PS 7. when i start with GFX making it was already with CS2. so far i have nothing against it.
only that it takes a bit to load sometimes <<;

im too lazy try other programs as well(and to read big tutorials too. even if its something i was looking for to find/read xD) i tryed OpenCanvas but it soon get on nerves so i quit. still have it on my PC though.

so yeah Photoshop CS2 is my favorite so far

i wanted to try a program where you can make 3D looking stuff. i think its called Maya. but alas, im too lazy to download it and/or look for tutorials XD guess ill be stuck with CS2 for a while more heh
