In what ways do you acquire your mangas?

Since most stores don't carry manga's I usually read them online, then to follow up I order them from a store. happy.gif

I buy mine either on online book stores or go to the store in person and purchase them. Some chapters I download online, but I like to own the actual book.

When it comes to doujinshi (it's somewhat like manga, only you can't buy it in the public), I just download the scans off a few sites. Doujinshi is rare and expensive, so I find it better and safer to read them on my computer. Although if I really want one, I buy it when I bug my parents enough to go on eBay.

Borders is exactly where I get my Mangas too. But they are sometimes out of stock which is a aggravating, that's where the Internet comes in. biggrin.gif

I usually go to the store and buy them because stores around me carry manga. I have downloaded a couple of chapters off of the internet though. It's a pain in the butt for me though.

I buy mine at either Borders or Barnes & Nobles. Both stores carry a good amount of manga.... or at least they do where I live. Usually when one store doesn't have it, the other will.

On youtube? they aren't movies... O_O anyway, I don't even know if Mangas are being sold in my land. I've seen some DB manga tough but they don't seem very appealing it's always a green cover with a image on it with the title. It's black and white and it's costs € 2,95 If I remember right. Not worth it for me.

I never saw any other manga being sold then DB. The Netherlands aren't that into anime so let alone in manga. That's why I like Japan so much they have anime, manga, games and they are specialized into it. Whole stores selling only these goods. While here, you should be happy that there's some crappy corner where the goods are being sold.

I have bought a manga before and it was well worth the price, but now it's getting more expensive for them around here so I might have to consider d/l'ing them...

Yeah, downloaden is the best thing, there is in some countrys to get your mangas. But the real deal is nice if you're realy collecting them.

I think downloading is the next best alternative because some mangas are quite expensive. However, I agree if you're trying to increase your collection it's better to have the real thing.
