Important Announcement!

Well the forum has been updated it's big version step up from what we have been running for god knows how long.

The mods to our forum (arcade etc are gone for the time being, I'll see what I can readd when get a chance) gallery and download systems are also latest versions (they are made by the company who makes the forum software itself [invision])

I'll get a shoutbox up asap if I can for the odd lurker.

For the gamers, and also those random players, which system do u think ur coming to prefer to buy?

I thank Stan for just showing me the new Super Smash Brothers Brawl game. Upon looking further at the system I found out that Wii will have 4 ports for the Gamecube controllers and not 2. With this new information, its Wii all the way. Long live Nintendo!! (Snake is in)

well even tho it has a price tag of $599 i cant wait for the ps3. so many games i wanna try out and it HAS to be better than the 360 if its way more expensive. im looking forward to GTA4 the most. halo 3 seems good too. both games are out next year o well.

hmmm the next gen. console that i am looking forward to the most, is the ps3!!! I think Wii has the most innovative controller, but i still dont like it much, ps3 currently would have the best CPU and the best graphics! it is also the only console that supports Blu-ray technology, which is an extra large DVD. REcently they also have added motion sensors to the controllers...and ps3 has a great line up of games. GTA4, MSG4, FFXIII remake of FF7 ...etc

Once again and I will do forever I will choose Nintendo's console the Wii..

Nintendo's games are always special and it has some good games franhices...

And it's not all about the graphics guys! ^^

exactly what I ment. Some people think it's all and only about graphics...

So what if the graphics are nice if the gameplay isn't good the whole game is nothing.

I'd say the X-Box 360.
Let me get this out of the way. I hate Playstation. Always have. Probably always will.
I've always liked Nintendo, but I think they're going downhill with their consoles. They should stick to hand-helds.
So that leaves the 360. Yeah, I'm biased. Shoot me. That, and... I just like the games.

Altough I don't agree with you that their consoles are going down-hills...

Sure, the GC has lower games then the 2 other consoles but that's always been the case. You buy a nintendo console for the nintendo games...

Hey Fred, can I presume that u like Halo. As most ppl I know they get the Xbox so they can play it so I wanted to see if that theory is really true? This question is asked of anyone getting an Xbox 360 or already has an Xbox

but the PS3 will get more sales, cuz Sony releases every ###### game a developer brings to them, so they have a huge variety of ###### [and some good] games.

I think the PS3 will be the best. Sales will probably be off the charts. Everyone I know wants a PS3, not an XBox 360.

Great, now i cant get Ridge Racer out of my head.

Anyway, ill probally get the PS3 if any. Im losing my interest in games :rolleyes:

BTW, why are they calling the Nintendo the Wii, sounds so weird.

I’m going with the Nintendo Wii, cause not only will the Sony PS3 be $599 US (which means it will be around $699 in Canadian) but also it has become bigger. I mean sure, the PS3 has much nicer graphics and it’s CPU power is undeniably stronger then anything made so far, but Sony hasn’t changed a dam thing with their consoles (the same can go for there controllers). It seems that the PS series has only gotten bigger, while as Nintendo is pushing the current technology to make there consoles smaller then before. As well as setting the bar with innovated technology on there systems (for example the Nintendo DS with the touch screen feature). In my opinion, the Wii is going to be one of the best, and lest expensive. So for sure I’m going to get the Wii, and maybe later the PS3, just for certain game titles (like Armored Core and Ace Combat).
