Spiderman 2 (Nintendo DS)

Well, to start my review i'll say the game isn't bad for the price I picked it up for. You can find it generally cheap, 19.99 new, less used. It isn't the best but none the less is a decent title for the DS's launch.

Gameplay:

The game has a 2-D gameplay with 3-D environments and scenery. The scenery is nice but the gameplay isn't very nice, you use the DS's stylus to touch the "special" moves which aren't exactly strong or impressive. You will usually wind up using 1 or 2 moves the whole game since alot of them are useless. You have the face buttons for punching, kicking, webbing, jumping. Simple yet the levels are fruusterating sometimes, you have normal goals which are generally easy, then the secondary goals which usually are tougher. In these you have to complete the level's main goal and the next goal in a certain time limit. It adds for great replay value since you are forced to memorize the level to do this in the alloted time. If you are not very good at doing things fast then I suggest you don't pick up this game since this game is fast paced.

Sound: Not very amusing, I suggest putting on some headphones while you play this game in the car or something. If your playing it anywhere else just turn the volume down since the game's sounds or effects aren't anything groundbreaking or anything along the lines of worth listening to.

Graphics:

The game did not go to the DS's potential at all, in fact I think the gameboy could have almost done these graphics. And you can't use the excuse the DS was young because Super Mario DS is the example of amazing graphics for a systems release.

Extras:

All the missions extra missions should keep you busy for a while since there not exactly easy, their are unlockable moves that aren't very impressive but fun to fool around with once you have completed the game.

All in all it isn't a bad game but it isn't fantastic, you should pick it up if you want something entertaining for a while. The price is worth it

Now this game is good on the Ds it is just awsome becuase of the 2 screens i just really like it .

personally think this game was.... ok you know what... i thought it was dumb, just stupid, it just didnt appeal to me at all, the graphics werent bad but the way it was played was quite horrible
