UPDATED.

Make sure you take into fact some of the following when making a review.

Try using good grammer and no bad lang etc as this will show up on the main website.

Max of around 4 Screenshots (also aloud 1 picture of the game box at start of review). Dont make the width be anymore then around 500 as more and will break the tables on the website and such like. Also make sure the images are uploaded to your own album on Image Gallery etc. Dont hotlink images from like GameSpot etc.

Give your a review a nice clear title. If in ds/gba forum make sure it starts with [GBA] or [DS] as title name.

For games and cotd make sure give it some kind of rating were it be like out of say /5 with . ratings like 4.5,3.2 and 2.8/5 for example or just plain 1/10 2/10 etc.

Make sure you like dont put 2 pictures side by side in a post as it will more likely have to be edited as it wont display right on the Website. Best just to do one after the other.

Also for COTD can do as said with the video game box add it at start of review.

developer: Intelligent Systems
publisher: Nintendo
Genre: Turn-Based Strategy
players: 1-8
Online: No
Platform: Nintendo DS
Release: In stores now

Introduction:

Some few years ago not many people knew about 'advance wars'. This is because the game was only released in Japan. The reason they gave was because that they thought we wouldn't like it and we wouldn't be smart enough. However in 2001 Nintendo released advance wars for the gameboy advance and it became a number 1 seller hit! The wars series is made by Intelligent Systems who also made the paper Mario games and some other games.

Story:

There isn't that much story. In the first game you played as he orange star army fighting the other army's. In the second game on the gameboy advance known as advance wars: Black hole rising the orange team has teamed up with the others teams that exist in the advance wars world because they were in fact set up to fight each other. This was the doing of the blackhole army. The other army's are known as as:

* Blue Moon
* Yellow Comet
* Green Earth

Each army has different CO's and you can see them as an sort of officer. They all have certain stats that can give them advantages over others and each co also has 2 powers that they can activate after some time.

Anyway everyone thought the black hole army was defeated but gues again? They are back... However someone else is behind their invasion know as the previous leader was defeated.

GamePlay:

This is a turn based strategy game. You can see it as chess I gues but it's much better. There are different modes that you can play. The most important mode is the Camping. This is main story of the game.

As I said before there are many different Co's. There's Rachel, Max, Andy, just to name a few. Max has a great advantage with tanks but stinks with long range units. While Andy is your allround men and can repair his units! Every co has also two powers. This is shown by little starts right under the name of your co. You can fill these stars by destroying your enemy!

Like in chess there are many different 'pieces' although in this game they are called units ^^ You can 'make' tanks, Air planes, Boats, Solders, You name it ^^ You earn your money by capturing city's with soldiers. Also really nice feature: You can control them with your stylus. It goes much faster then with the buttons!

It may look difficult but it's rather easy and fun! ^^ You will get the hang of it.

Sound:

The sound is okay, Nothing wrong with it. Although it may be too happy for a war game.

Graphics:

Bright colours like we're used to on a Nintendo handheld. Maybe a little to bright and colourful for some but the previous games sold that much... I don't believe that it is really a problem ^^

Result:

It's a great game. If you love (turn based) war games you have to buy this! It's one of the best games on the Nintendo DS! If you have a DS buy this!

90/100

Forum rules in a nutshell (this is default, go to my controls to change it after you have read this notes)
- As for help on how to download and risk being banned. If you have a question... read the Downloads Info topic. If your question isn't answered there... then and ONLY then ask.
- Don't bump topics over 2 months old. Doing so will annoy the moderators and doing it too frequently will only shorten your lifespan on YGOL.
- Please don’t double post... use the edit button.
- Use common sense. Don't post unless you have something useful to constribute to the topic ((aka no spam)) and create topics in the right forums ((aka don't create a topic about your favourite basketball team in the TCG forum)).
