Over the next few weeks, I will personally take off names of the members who have been inactive for quite sometime. What I plan to do is simply to PM them saying they have a week's notice to get back online, and atleast post saying they want to retain their pairing and they will make a conscious effort to be somewhat active so they can keep them. Is this not the best anime ever created? You can get your witty sarcasm, caked in pervertedness, psycho-multiple personalities, and inline skating with a little Kingship on the side?! So, have you heard the news? It seems that fans absolutely love the Death Note manga and anime. They read it, watch it and some have evened purchased the authentic Death Notebook themselves. But can a simple looking black book really cause a problem and threat to others? Apparently so.

A student in Richmond, Virginia was suspended when a teacher overheard the student talking about what he wrote inside a book called 'Death Note'. A notice was then sent home to parents talking about the notebook and where to get more information about it.

On December 21st 2007, In Nashville, Tennesse, two more students were suspended after a parent tipped school officials about a dangerous notebook being found with threats and detailed descriptions of death inside.

The students were all suspended because school officials thought this was a prank-gone-too-far because it had to do with death. The thing that is really frustrating fans and viewers is that it's nothing more than a harmless book and is not a hitlist. If the angry adults would do their research first and find information on the Death Note, they wouldn't take it so seriously. The website linked to the so called 'official website' of the death note is nothing more than a fan-site which allows others to make their own death note entries, so of course now everyone will think that what the students did is 10-time worse than they thought.

So what do you think? Are the school officials and parents over-reacting? Or did the students get what was coming to them?

I'm just wondering if anyone is reading the Yuugiou R manga?

Synopsis:
Pegasus' Brother, Tenma, takes his revenge out on Yuugi for killing his brother in Duelist Kingdom, so he takes hold of Kaiba Corp in the US. He kidnaps Anzu and plans to sacrifice her in order to ressurect Pegasus. Yuugi accepts and has to battle 13 duel proffessors in order to reach Tenma.

The manga is pretty cool, although I just usually scan the pages that I find online. It isn't drawn by Kazuki Takahashi himself, but he does supervise the project. It's very interesting, although I hate seeing all these new cards that look like fans made them. Yuugi's deck is surprisingly dark and mysterious, but Yakou's is even scarier. I really have no idea what's going on anymore, but the latest chapter is just spooky. How is Yakou using Black Magic with just cards? He's using similar tactics that Mariku uses, but he had an Sennen Item.

Questions:
1. Do you think Shonen Jump will release the Yuugiou R manga?
2. Do you think Yuugiou R will be animated into an OVA?

I hope Shonen Jump will translate and release Yuugiou R because the Yuugiou DM manga ends in February. Hopefully the Yuugiou GX manga won't get in the way.

Seeing Yuugiou R animated would be really cool and it would be Yuugiou DM's first OVA! Of course, there are somethings to be taken into consideration. Since the manga is different from the anime, there are things that are different (Keith Howard and Pegasus die in the manga, while they live in the anime). But, all anime differs from its manga, so if it is released, there will probably be some changes. The biggest thing is Pegasus' brother, who takes his revenge because of Pegaus' death. I'm not sure how they will change this.

Personally I like Anime better. Why, because 99% of anime has most or all of the components needed to make a good show. For example, it has action, comedy, romance(I'm not a big fan of romance), drama, horror, psychological ect.

In Cartoons you only find funny, some has action too but they dont have a wide spreed of genre's. This doesn't mean I hate everything and everyone that likes cartoons, I do like some such as.... Class of the titans, Martin Mystery ect.(I over use this word ), but there are those with the most pathetic comedy I've ever seen. Some are so stupid that I literally get an headache...

I would love to hear all your opinions so...

I saw this in another forum and thought of it as interesting topic, who would be your most hated character in anime? A lot of people dislike the antagonists for hurting other people for their own good, but you see a few people who despise the protagonists. Anywho, I'll refrain from talking about obvious things and get on with the topic.

My most hated characters are:

Sasuke- He just has this way of getting on my nerves and he's a complete showoff, cool guy and definitly a wanna-be badguy. People like him should get thrown in cage full of soul eaters so that their soul will dissapear from the face of the earth.*cough* On to the next one

Itachi-So he killed his whole clan, has a powerful weapon ect., I dont care, I dont like him*gets assulted by fangirls*

Sakura-*shoves dust of shoulders* look at them bullying an Itachi plushie kuku..huh, oh yeah *clears throat*. She a major damsel in fasion and beauty-not to mention Sasuke-. Her obsession drives me crazy and the fact that she always blames Naruto for everything p****s me off *thinks of destructive ways to torture Sakura but fails miserably*
Kagome-She's a sucker, I almost feel sorry for her. The way she acts when there's a 'Kikyo' atmosphere, jealosy is such a terrible thing and even though she has a great power in her, she acts like an damsel in distress when there is trouble. Inuyasha always has to save her, she should shoot the darn guy(the bad guys) if he is irritating her, she does have a bow and arrows.

Ichigo(from Tokyo Mew Mew)-Her attitude and everything gets on my nerves, I cant even describe how much I want to put her in a hot stove and serve her to the hungry beasts of nature.

There are many others but I'll give them later. Now you guys can give your answers.

P.S. I also dont need to like every Tom, Piet and Harry that passes me by on the street, and that is why I dislike Itachi, the others also fall into this reason. Now I'll leave you alone.

Since most stores don't carry manga's I usually read them online, then to follow up I order them from a store.

Salutations everyone! Hows everything? You know as well as I do that its summer time. The conditions are just about right for hunting anime for the winter. LOL! I love that My fav is Edward and Flame Alchemist. Do U know that anime ? What is your fav character? What do U think about ending?
I prefer happy ends... So I was extremly happy when I watched The Conqueror of Shambala. Maybe it isn't the best ending, but better than the first.

Was there ever an anime that you felt needed refinement, something was missing or they really just didn't really finish the series off???


What springs to mind for me would be Hellsing, yep great action, style and a unique main character...............unfortunatly they ended the series and now it feels like it abruptly stopped. There are so many unanswered questions like what Happened to the priest guy that opposes Alucard???

I read my friends Oct. edition of Shonen Jump yesterday and I read the part about Death Note. It was a little scary to give me a shiver unfortunately no nightmares. Maybe if they put it on T.V I might little more scared especially the part when he causes a traffic accident. So what about you guys were you guys scared or anything, just your opinion would be nice.
